Hello, guys, with the spirit of decorating! These past few days, I have had questions from some friends. For example, I have this kind of living room with this kind of measurement and this kind of room shape what the best thing I should do is? Well, for this article, I've going to give you five living room layouts that you can try. And what is best for your home? Okay, let's get started.
The first layout I have is what I like, which is Classic Look. With a classic design, you can organize your living rooms with the three-seater sofa in front of the TV, two chairs at each side, and the side tables are in between them. This layout is for the people who want the TV to be the center of the living room. Let's say they're a family that revolved around a TV watching. Dad likes watching boxing, Mom loves telenovelas, and the kids enjoy a movie.
Next is the Conversational Layout. The sofa stays in place, but as you can, the chairs moved to the part front and middle. It is ideal when you throw a party. Because at parties nobody has the time to watch the TV. After all, everyone is mingling; the TV turned off. It is why it's called a conversation layout. Because it makes people talk, because you get to look at one another, it's perfect for having drinks together and enjoy the meal.
The third layout is Casual and Balanced. From the title itself, it's a balance of a living room layout that revolved in tv-watching and mingling. It's ideal for families or individuals that don't have the time to rearrange their layout. Every time there's a party coming up, the TV is in perfect view if you want to watch it.
Number four is the Angular Layout. It is for rooms with an awkward shape. Or, you like the casual and balanced layout, but you want more TV watching no problem! It's just still from a relaxed and stable design. You just have to give some furniture. A small sofa will be placed diagonally, as well as the coffee table. You just have to change the positions of the side table, so it will look more cohesive. The side table of the sofa will placed at the opposite end. So, the coffee table works for both the chair and the sofa since everything is close.
To the last layout, this layout we call the L shape because it arranged like an L shape or a sectional sofa but with separate chairs. You just have to put the sofa perpendicular to the TV and the chairs in front, which makes it an L. This layout gives a natural flow to your living room.
So what kind of layout do you think will fit best in your home? Why don't you just do a trial and error method? I'm sure that you can do it. Also, try by looking at the reference image in the photo gallery below.
